Just ahead of its two year anniversary, Keystone Law Northern Ireland has been shortlisted by leading industry guide, Legal 500 for the coveted title of Northern Ireland Law Firm of the Year.

The firm, launched operations in Belfast in early 2017 following a commercial merger with McMahon McKay and has already doubled in size. Over the past year, Keystone NI has acted on some of the jurisdiction’s largest and high profile transactions including the £140m regeneration of Giant’s Park and a historic 150,000 square feet property let of Lanyon Place for Causeway Asset Management.

The Legal 500 UK awards recognise the best in-house and private practice teams, as well as individuals. Assessed on performance over the past 12 months, the accolades highlight those providing the best service with particular reference to innovation and a modern approach.

The final shortlist also features Eversheds Sutherland, Cleaver Fulton Rankin, A&L Goodbody and Millar McCall Wylie. The winner will be revealed at an awards ceremony in February next year at the Guildhall in London.

Keystone NI Managing Director, John McMahon said:

“This is amazing recognition for the team here in Belfast who, over the past year, have worked on a number of high profile, complex deals, reinforcing our capabilities and highlighting the calibre of our lawyers. For this to be recognised by the UK’s leading legal directory and for us to be shortlisted alongside such respected and long established names is an awesome achievement and I am delighted for the whole team.”
