Keystone Law Isle of Man (IOM) has advised Isle of Man-based pure play esports betting company Esports Limited, trading as Luckbox, on its merger with Canadian company Real Luck Group Limited and the subsequent listing on the TSX Venture Exchange in Toronto.

Following successful completion of a scheme of merger with Luckbox, Real Luck Group Limited began trading on the TSXV on 16 December 2020 under the ticker “LUCK”.

Luckbox offers legal, real-money betting, live streams, and statistics on all major esports on desktop and mobile devices. Luckbox has a B2C platform, and by leveraging shared technology, data, and resources Luckbox can offer an extensive range of betting options for esports tournaments. Luckbox holds a gambling licence issued by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and significant operations in the Isle of Man.

Led by corporate solicitor Hazel Dawson, Keystone advised on the scheme of merger in the Isle of Man and assisted Luckbox’s Canadian advisors, Fasken Martineau, on the Isle of Man aspects of the Canadian law reverse takeover transaction.
