Why Join Us
Since we launched Keystone Law in 2002, the firm has evolved into an award-winning, Top 100 firm with more than 450 Partners, a bustling head office in the heart of London, and meeting rooms across the country.
For over a decade, we’ve been one of the fastest-growing law firms in the country because we set out to build something different: a firm that champions independence while creating a genuine sense of belonging through collaboration; that embraces technology and open spaces; that supports lawyers in delivering outstanding client care while enjoying fulfilling, balanced lives. Keystone is about law, of course, but it’s also about life and living.

A firm like no other
Keystone is about many things, but a sense of passion lies at the core. Our lawyers’ passion for their clients and real results, and our award-winning back office team’s passion for supporting our lawyers in every possible way.
We remove the distractions of traditional law firm structures, allowing lawyers to concentrate fully on what matters most: their clients. We challenge convention and adapt to what clients actually need. That’s what keeps Keystone dynamic, human and a place where excellence thrives.

Culture
Keystone’s culture is central to our identity and success. It is consciously nurtured, carefully protected and continuously evolving.
For us, purpose and freedom equal happiness. RollOnFriday named us the happiest law firm in the country in their ‘Firm of the Year’ 2022 survey, achieving an extraordinary 94% satisfaction score from our lawyers. Whilst we’ve since been told we can no longer enter the survey (probably due to our consistently stellar feedback), the reason we score so highly is simple: Keystone has a culture built on trust, independence, and genuine care. It is why brilliant people can do their best work on their terms.
Community
Collaboration is fundamental to our approach. From day 1, we actively facilitate and help new lawyers to make connections that will support and grow their practice. As a result, our lawyers know each other better than they would in most traditional firms and work together in agile teams with complementary expertise. Knowledge is shared freely and cross-referral is ingrained in how we operate. As a result, over 30% of our annual revenue comes from internally referred work.
Social Connections
Beyond work, our people connect through social groups, sports and shared experiences. Flexibility, balance and enjoyment are not just perks, they are part of our design. We believe that high performance and personal autonomy can coexist and we invest time to spot interests and bring people together around what they love doing outside of work. We even have a team dedicated purely to this! At Keystone, our lawyers make lots of new friends as well as colleagues.
Fairness and equality
Fairness and equality underpin it all. Without hierarchy and with a transparent remuneration structure, our lawyers are free from office politics and empowered to work in ways that suit them, enabling them to focus solely on delivering excellence.
Diversity
We are committed to cultivating an inclusive environment that values individuality and celebrates difference. Where everyone belongs, where ideas are exchanged openly and where innovation is strengthened through diverse perspectives. While our journey continues, one thing is clear: people are encouraged to be themselves and that authenticity is recognised as a strength.
Award-winning support and facilities
Keystone lawyers benefit from a huge range of facilities, including meeting rooms throughout the UK and our head office in central London which offers social and work spaces. In addition, all Keystone lawyers receive access to our award-winning support teams who can support on anything from business development through to IT and compliance issues.
