Clara is a senior associate in our dispute resolution team, specialising in commercial and residential property disputes. She provides strategic advice to landlords, tenants, developers, and private individuals across a broad spectrum of contentious property matters.
Her practice encompasses disputes involving service charges, rent arrears, disrepair, dilapidations, forfeiture, and possession claims. Clara is well-versed in enforcement procedures, including statutory demands, charging orders, orders for sale, winding-up petitions, and bankruptcy applications. She also has particular expertise in drafting and serving landlord and tenant notices—such as break notices—and advising on lease-end obligations.
In addition to mainstream property litigation, Clara advises on more complex issues including compulsory purchase compensation, noise nuisance, boundary disputes, and claims for adverse possession. She is experienced in alternative dispute resolution, regularly assisting clients through mediation and negotiating settlement agreements.
