Dee is a highly rated corporate lawyer, with over 27 years’ experience in the field. She specialises in venture capital, private equity and a broad range of private company M&A transactions.  Dee advises financial institutions and companies on their investments, refinancing’s and shareholder arrangements, as well as corporates (including private equity backed corporates) and individuals on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations and restructurings, in each case across most sectors.  

Dee also has extensive experience advising on EIS, SEIS and VCT investments and on transactions in the healthcare, retail and technology sectors.

  • Acted for ERA VC on its investment in a mushroom wellness brand, co founded by Ellie Goulding 
  • Advised Calculus Capital’s EIS and VCT funds on numerous investments in the technology, leisure and film sectors 
  • Advised Redrice Ventures on various investments in the wellness and retail sectors 
  • Acted for Portfolion Digital Private Equity on various investments  
  • Advised Beringea on numerous investments in the technology, leisure and retail sector by its VCT funds as well as a number of successful exits, including the sale of Monica Vinader. 
  • Acted for Mobeus Equity Partners (now Gresham) on the investment by its VCT funds in BookingTek Limited 
  • Advised Sovereign Capital Partners on various homecare, care home and supported living investments 
  • Acted for a senior lender on the corporate aspects of its acquisition finance facility to support the MBO of a number of care home businesses 

Dee Sian-Bieleman advises corporates, shareholders and investors on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations and restructurings, managing all aspects from term sheet, due diligence and deal execution to post-completion integration.

  • Acted for City and County Healthcare Group (under various PE backing), the UK’s largest domiciliary care provider, on over 55 acquisitions in the homecare and supported living sector 
  • Advised Clinical Partners Limited on the acquisition of Oxford ADHD 
  • Acted for Independence Products Limited (backed by Graphite Capital) on its acquisition of Principality Medical Limited 
  • Acted for the buyer on a £35m acquisition of a furniture and manufacturing business. 
  • Advised Sovereign Capital Partners on various homecare, care home and supported living portfolio matters 
  • Advised a cosmetic surgery business on its corporate reorganisation and restructuring
