Matt is a paralegal in the property litigation team. He assists partners in complex landlord and tenant disputes, commercial lease reviews, and other aspects of property litigation.

Matt supports in managing a wide range of disputes including commercial, residential, and agricultural tenancy matters. His work primarily involves legal research, drafting pleadings, provision of client advice, and comprehensive document review.

He also assists with matters involving restructuring and insolvency, particularly the drafting of winding up petitions.

Matt is a civil advocate with three years’ experience representing clients in a range of civil litigation in the County Courts and tribunals. He has attended over 500 hearings, acting for landlords, tenants, banks, and small businesses.

He has a particular specialism in consumer credit law, having acted for consumers in the first ‘Plevin’ car finance cases after the Supreme Court decision of Johnson was handed down in August 2025.
