Natasha is a highly experienced employment solicitor who acts for both employers and senior executives, including regulated professionals. She has particular expertise in employment litigation and disputes involving complex whistleblowing and discrimination issues.

She has a strong track record in helping her employer clients avoid costly court and tribunal proceedings and when acting for senior executives she frequently secures high-value settlements, including a number of seven-figure settlements.

Natasha is dual-qualified in England & Wales and Australia and works with clients in a variety of sectors, from financial services, media and entertainment, law firms and other professional services firms, to hotels, hospitality & leisure and luxury brands.

Natasha advises employers and individuals on whistleblowing disclosures, internal investigations and related litigation.

Experience

  • Acted for a senior sales manager against a global company on a successful whistleblowing claim, upheld in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal.
  • Acted for a political party association defending whistleblowing claims brought by a senior employee alleging furlough fraud and detriments.
  • Acted for a senior executive on complex whistleblowing claims (unlawful dismissal and detriment claims) against a multinational company.

Natasha advises senior executives and employers on terminations, settlement negotiations, bonus disputes and post-termination restrictions.

Experience

  • Acted for a number of exiting CEOs, negotiating their exit terms and advising on restrictive covenants and LTIPs.
  • Acted for a senior executive, defending allegations of sexual harassment.
  • Acted for a senior executive in a complex discrimination claim, achieving a high-value eight-figure settlement.

Natasha represents clients in discrimination and sexual misconduct matters, conducting investigations and defending claims, with expertise in equality law and sensitive workplace dispute management.

Experience

  • Acted for a senior executive to achieve a high-value settlement where they were being bullied and performance-managed out, with claims involving failure to make reasonable adjustments and disability discrimination.
  • Acted for a senior executive to achieve a high-value settlement and an agreement to all non-financial terms requested with regard to claims involving sex discrimination, pregnancy and maternity discrimination, marriage discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
  • Advised one of the UK’s top-ranked higher education providers regarding multiple equal pay claims brought by a group of academics.

Natasha advises senior executives and financial institutions on employment disputes and exits in the financial services and private equity sectors, including whistleblowing, discrimination, unfair dismissal and high-value contractual and bonus claims.

Experience

  • Acted for a senior trader on his claims for discrimination and unfair dismissal in the Employment Tribunal and breach of contract in the High Court. Judgment in the Employment Tribunal upholding claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination, resulting in a high-value seven-figure settlement.
  • Acted for a senior executive in the financial services sector on complex whistleblowing claims (unlawful dismissal and detriment claims) against a multinational company.
  • Acted for a senior trader in relation to his breach of contract claim (worth a seven-figure sum) in the High Court against a global bank, achieving a successful and early settlement for the client.
  • Acted for a senior analyst on his claims for whistleblowing and unfair dismissal against a global bank.
  • Acted for a number of senior executives in the private equity sector, negotiating exit terms involving significant carry and restrictive covenants.

Natasha advises partners, solicitors and professional firms on discrimination, victimisation and misconduct matters, including complex partnership and exit disputes, achieving sensitive settlements and practical resolutions in highly confidential professional practice environments.

  • Acted for a partner on his claims for discrimination and victimisation against a global accountancy firm.
  • Acted for a firm of solicitors in relation to the exit of a senior team member and related misconduct allegations.
  • Acted for a senior solicitor in relation to a matter involving longstanding claims of discrimination and victimisation with a successful settlement achieved with financial and non-financial terms that were extremely important to the individual, in a case that was described as “impossible to settle”.

Natasha advises luxury hotel, hospitality and leisure groups on all employment matters, including executive exits, discrimination and harassment claims, restructures, policy development and training, with extensive experience managing sensitive, high-profile workplace issues.

  • Assisted a luxury hotel group with the early settlement of a number of discrimination claims in the Employment Tribunal.
  • Assisted a luxury hotel and hospitality groups with protected conversations and settlement agreements.
  • Supported luxury brands with highly sensitive matters, including alleged sexual harassment in the workplace, involving employees and, at times, high-profile guests.
  • Assisted a luxury hotel group with sickness absence management and related claims.
  • Advised luxury hotel groups on redundancy and restructure processes.
  • Advised luxury hotel and hospitality groups on policies, handbooks and procedures.
  • Provided regular training to senior management and HR to a luxury hotel group.
