Susan is a commercial property law specialist with more than 30 years’ high-level experience.
She has a diverse client portfolio which includes private investment companies both UK based and offshore, commercial landlords, retailers, corporate occupiers, developers, charities, landowners, high net worth individuals and family offices.
Susan advises on commercial property investment of all types including office, retail, mixed-use buildings, leisure, and warehousing and on commercial property leasing and portfolio management, having acted for corporate, institutional and private investors and landlords over many years. She advises a broad range of commercial occupiers including household-name retail tenants, warehouse and distribution operators and corporate occupiers.
She often works alongside Keystone corporate colleagues dealing with the real estate aspects of transactions involving acquisitions, sales and financing of property-investing corporate vehicles whether portfolio or single asset, both established and special purpose. Susan also works with Keystone planning colleagues when planning advice is needed for her transactions.
For transactions involving overseas investor clients she works closely with overseas counsel and trustees.
Susan advises on commercial property investment, including high-value sales, purchases and sale and leaseback transactions for corporate clients, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

Susan acts for retail and corporate tenants for their occupational leases, relocations and portfolio rationalisation across commercial property assets.

Susan advises landlords on lease negotiations and estate management, including lettings to retail and office tenants, investment disposals, and ongoing property management of both single assets and large portfolios.

Susan handles prime residential sales and acquisitions for high-net-worth individuals and family offices, often involving complex structuring and integration with wider commercial or investment property interests. She also acts on residential acquisitions and disposals for directors of corporate clients and their family members.

Susan advises developers on mixed-use and residential schemes, including site acquisition, forward funding and letting and for landowners on options/overage agreements.
