Vasoula’s experience particularly extends to high-value transactions in London and the Home Counties, such as acting for domestic and offshore clients, as well as developers and lenders in the sale and purchase of freehold, leasehold, and new-build properties.

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Vasoula advises on prime freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, bringing expertise in property financing and transfers of equity to ensure smooth, efficient transactions.
- Acted on sales and purchases of leasehold properties impacted by the Building Safety Act 2022, including advising on complex compliance and risk allocation issues.
- Acted on a conditional exchange of contracts for a high-value Hampstead Garden Suburb property, arranging interim finance between exchange and completion and addressing lender enquiries.
- Acted for high-profile personalities on the sale and purchase of prime family homes in Belgravia, Chiswick, and Westminster.
- Acted for a prominent Middle Eastern family acquiring a leasehold residence in Mayfair together with two further apartments in the same block, subsequently merged (with landlord and planning consents).
Property development and financing
Vasoula supports small-scale property development projects, combining experience in property financing and acquisitions with a strong background in freehold and leasehold matters.
- Acted for a small-scale developer in the sale of a substantially refurbished freehold property in St John’s Wood, navigating planning, construction, and estate management scheme consents within a tight timescale.
- Acted for a small-scale developer in the purchase of a semi-demolished property in St George’s Hill, subject to partially implemented planning consent, and satisfied lender’s solicitor enquiries prior to completion.
- Acted for secured lenders financing freehold and leasehold purchases, liaising with borrowers’ solicitors and reporting to lender clients.
- Acted for a corporate investor in the re-finance of a £100m+ London property portfolio, managing lender enquiries, reporting to the borrower, and arranging discharge of existing security.
- Acted for trustees of a convent on the refinancing of their premises, including deducing title of unregistered land, liaising with restrictive covenant beneficiaries, and funding the acquisition and redevelopment of a nursing home as a new convent (subject to planning).
Landlord and tenant
Vasoula acts for landlords and tenants across a range of matters, drawing on expertise in property financing, transfers of equity, and prime residential property.
