Keystone Law licensing partners Niall McCann and Richard Williams have advised FRP Advisory, administrators of Italian restaurant chain Carluccio’s, on the licensing aspects of the restaurant chain’s sale to Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG).

FRP were appointed administrators on 30 March 2020 and the sale will see 30 UK restaurant sites and more than 800 employees transfer to BRG.

Carluccio’s will join other well-known brands including Cinnamon, Fishworks, Slim Chickens, Giraffe and Ed’s Easy Diner under BRG.

Keystone’s full-service Licensing team has years of experience in dealing with both simple and complex requirements. Working closely with colleagues in other areas of law, such as property, planning, regulatory law and contracts, the team can provide the right advice to ensure that there is no delay in obtaining the correct licences and permissions.
