Keystone Law’s Corporate partner Andrew Bretherton and Tax partner Paul McCourt have advised Structura, the facade engineering and structural glass contractor, on its transition to an employee ownership trust (EOT).
The move to an EOT marks a significant moment for Structura and its 90-strong team, reinforcing its commitment to long-term independence and maintaining standards and values.
Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Surrey, Structura provides a suite of services spanning design, engineering, manufacture, installation, refurbishment and maintenance, with in-house expertise in glass, aluminium, cladding and complex bespoke facades.
The Keystone Law team played a key role in structuring the transaction, providing legal and tax support throughout the process.
Daniel Rickman, Structura’s Managing Director, said:
“Andrew Bretherton and Paul McCourt at Keystone Law did an excellent job for us: they were responsive and professional and ensured that we closed the deal in a timely manner.”
Andrew Bretherton said:
“The EOT structure provides a robust framework for long-term stability while preserving the culture and values that have underpinned the business for decades. We are pleased to have supported the Structura team through this important milestone.”
