Keystone Law’s hospitality partner Alyona Antonenko has advised Wyndham Hotels & Resorts on a strategic alliance with Cygnett Hotels & Resorts. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Wyndham’s expansion across South Asia, with plans to launch 60 hotels over the next decade. The first openings are expected in 2026.

Under the exclusive development agreement, Wyndham and Cygnett will develop a combination of 50 new-build and conversion hotels under the La Quinta® by Wyndham brand across India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Additionally, the alliance will include 10 luxury hotels under the Registry Collection Hotels® by Wyndham brand, co-branded with Anamore, Cygnett’s new five-star offering under a non-exclusive development agreement.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the world’s largest hotel franchising company by the number of franchised properties, with approximately 8,300 hotels across over 100 countries on six continents. Cygnett Hotels & Resorts is an Indian hospitality group with a growing portfolio targeting the upscale and midscale segments. The company boasts a robust portfolio of 45 operational across India.
