Keystone Law has advised First Payment Merchant Services (FPMS) on its sale to DNA Payments.
FPMS is one of the UK’s leading independent payment processing providers, facilitating around 400 million transactions per year for SMEs and larger customers.
DNA Payments is one of the largest independent, vertically integrated payments companies in the UK and EU.
The acquisition of FPMS supports DNA Payments’ £100M buy-and-build process and expands its omnichannel platform.
The Keystone Law team was led by corporate partner Charles Frank and included employment partner Jane Wheeler, financial services partner Chris Botsman, and trainee solicitor Sophie Welbourn.
Victoria Kelson, CEO of FPMS, commented:
“Dealing with Charles and his team at Keystone Law was a pleasure. Dedication to detail, excellent advice, always professional – even at 5pm on Christmas Eve when we still hadn’t exchanged. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thanks to Charles and the team, I would not hesitate to recommend.”
Charles Frank added:
“It was a pleasure to advise on this transaction, which is a just recognition for FPMS’ management team and investors.”
