In recent months when many have suffered hardship and loss, Isle of Man residents have stepped up to help others more than ever. ‘In the Spirit of Community Kindness’ will celebrate and bring together the community of volunteers, prison officers, police, teachers and service providers, as well as the NHS and many more.

On the night, His Excellency and Chief Minister will be joined by others to share their experiences and look at the incredible acts of kindness that have been shared and unveil locally made benches which have been commissioned by Isle of Man Newspapers and the mental health charity Compassionate Isle of Man. Following the event, the benches will be placed around the Island as a place where people can go to talk.

The event organised by Isle of Man Newspapers will take place on Thursday 24 September 2020 at the Gaiety Theatre and will also be streamed live on Facebook for those who cannot attend in person.

Keystone Law Isle of Man Director, Gillian Christian, said:

“During this difficult time the Manx people have pulled together to demonstrate that the Isle of Man is truly the best place in the world to live and work. This is a very special event and it is an absolute pleasure for Keystone Law to be involved.”
