Former International Family Law Group Partner, Hannah Budd, has joined Keystone Law.

Dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown, Hannah’s practice has a particular focus on advising international families living in England or overseas. She assists clients in identifying the most advantageous country in which to divorce and acts where there is a dispute as to the country in which the divorce should take place (jurisdiction disputes).

Over the course of her career, Hannah has advised clients in relation to the recognition and validity of their overseas marriages and divorces and has made representations on their behalf to the General Register Office (GRO) on this issue.

In respect of financial matters, Hannah advises clients in relation to complex financial settlements often involving international assets and taxation considerations. She has experience of financial claims in England being made after overseas divorces and also represents clients entering into pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

Hannah also advises on issues concerning children, with a particular emphasis on parents seeking to relocate internationally with their children or prevent the same. She frequently works closely with international lawyers and advisors for the benefit of clients.

CEO and founder James Knight said:

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Hannah to Keystone. She shares our ethos of always putting clients first and is well regarded in the profession. Her niche in handling cases with an international element will greatly complement our flourishing ultra-high-net-worth family offering.”

Hannah added:

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to further develop my career at one of the most talked-about law firms in the country. Keystone’s family team has a hugely impressive reputation and I am keen to be an asset to both them and this incredibly progressive, client-focused firm as a whole.”
