Keystone Law’s financial services and energy partner Rabya Anwar is the winner of the ‘Achievements in Law’ award category at this year’s British Muslim Awards.

The highly coveted awards are preceded by a nationwide public vote and a rigorous evidence assessment process conducted by an independent panel of judges.

Now in its tenth year, the BMA ceremony took place on Friday 28 April at The Marquee BMHC in Manchester. It celebrates the achievements and contributions of Muslims in various fields, from business, the professions including law and accounting to the media, arts and community service. The diversity and richness of Muslim culture and those who have made a positive impact on society were recognised throughout the ceremony.

Rabya is a leading financial services and energy specialist lawyer whose unparalleled technical expertise is frequently called upon by clients, regulatory bodies and industry media.  She leads an international team and is qualified to practise law across multiple jurisdictions.

The judges commented that this year’s finalists have shown “exceptional dedication and talent in their respective fields” and that the winners are “true leaders who have inspired others, pushed boundaries, and achieved remarkable success in their respective fields”.

Rabya Anwar said:

“It is an honour to have won the highly coveted ‘Achievements in Law’ award at this year’s British Muslim Awards ceremony.

“I am extremely grateful to everyone who nominated and voted for me nationwide and also to the independent judging panel. The camaraderie and warmth from the other inspiring and accomplished lawyers who were nominated in the ‘Achievements in Law’ award category was a highlight of the night.”
