National firm Keystone Law has strengthened both its employment and multi-disciplinary sports teams with the appointment of senior executive specialist Paul Daniels.

Joining from Slater & Gordon where he was made partner in 2003, Paul is best-known for his wide-ranging expertise across all areas of employment law, including executive dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and contract disputes.

His client base is diverse and he has typically been instructed by Senior Executives on complex or high value matters.

Paul has particular expertise within the sports sector having advised an array of premiership sports stars throughout his career. Key clients have included the likes of Roy Hodgson who Paul advised on his departure from Liverpool FC and subsequently on his England contract negotiation.

He also represented BBC producer Oisin Tymon after he was allegedly punched and assaulted by Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson.

Consistently recognised by Chambers & Partners guide and Legal 500, Paul has been hailed as a “fierce litigator” and a “tough negotiator”

He has also been an Employment Judge since 2005.
