Fast-growing firm Keystone Law has announced the hire of a further twelve senior and former partner-level lawyers.
Misquitta is a commercial, intellectual property and technology lawyer, specialising in both contract negotiation and litigation. He advises SMEs and institutional clients across numerous sectors, notably several reputable London museums and schools. Recognised in Chambers UK Guide, Anthony lectures on IP and related subjects for various educational institutions. Another addition to Keystone’s commercial and intellectual property offering is Emma Tom who joins from Nickelodeon, where she provided in-house legal counsel. Emma specialises in advising media companies on IP production, distribution, exploitation and protection issues. She also advises on commercial contract agreements and privacy matters, with particular expertise in children’s>Dispute Resolution team will be particularly enhanced with six new joiners. Ex-Kennedys Partner Jonathan Greensmith comes on board with significant expertise in professional regulatory and disciplinary matters within the legal sector, as well as considerable experience in dealing with SRA enquiries.
Also joining the firm, from Jeffrey Green Russell, are commercial litigators and experienced mediators Nigel Frost and Andrew McCallum, who practise predominantly in the construction industry. With more than five decades of experience between them, their client base consists largely of major plant hire, scaffolding and crane companies.
Specialising in Private Clientwork, City-trained Louise Maidment also joins the Dispute Resolution team, from Wilsons, proffering a range of contentious Trust and Probate capabilities and advising commercial clients on contractual disputes.
Garry Turkie completes the recent Dispute Resolution hires, undertaking work relating to UK and international commercial issues as well as financial disputes across a variety of sectors, including extensive work with clients in the UK and Russian Federation.
Asset and Project Finance specialist Simon Murfitt joins from Thomas Cooper and brings experience of working for various large banks gained through roles held at several prestigious City law firms including Clifford Chance. Simon’s practice is focused on asset and project finance and includes significant expertise in the aviation, marine and shipping sectors gained while working in the UK, Europe and Asia.
As a dual-qualified and bilingual UK solicitor and Spanish abogado, Susana Lajusticia brings considerable experience in Spanish property transactions, a topic on which she regularly presents seminars, as well as Spanish probate matters. Susana joins Keystone from one of the UK’s largest law firms, Slater and Gordon.
Also joining the firm is Ceinwen Lloyd from Winckworth Sherwood. Ceinwen is a family lawyer who deals with a variety of issues for high-net-worth individuals with complex assets both in the UK and abroad. She boasts impressive commercial knowledge thanks to her past roles as CEO and non-executive director at both a foreign investment and US-listed company.
As one of the largest practice areas with two dozen lawyers, Keystone’s Employment offering has been expanded by the arrival of Mark Dent and Matthew Tom. Joining from PCB Lawyers, Mark is an accredited Employment and Workplace Mediator as well as a solicitor. He acts across a broad spectrum of sectors for employers and senior-level employees. His clients have included the NHS, local governments and a major food retailer. Meanwhile Matthew Tom has over 15 years’ experience in all aspects of UK employment law, specialising in strategic advice to protect and secure clients’ interests on senior employee exits. Prior to joining Keystone, Matthew was a Partner at CANDEY.
This latest recruitment spree brings Keystone’s offering to around 170 lawyers, marking the continued rapid expansion of the firm following the launch of an award-winning recruitment campaign launched in spring this year.
