Keystone Law has advised The Nue Co, the personalised supplement brand, on its £18 million Series B investment by Pamoja Capital.

The investment will be used to expand the company’s existing operations and R&D across the US and the UK, and to enter new markets in 2022 and beyond.

Founded by entrepreneurs Jules Miller and Charlie Gower, The Nue Co develops natural, science-backed formulas tailored around a personalised subscription plan.

The Keystone Law team, covering multiple practice areas, was led by Corporate partner Charles Frank and included Corporate partner Gabi Olson-Welsh, Corporate solicitor Ana Gresa Pico, Employment partner Jane Wheeler, Employee Benefits solicitor Monica Ma, Corporate and Commercial partner Mark Harden, Immigration partner Sharmila Mehta, and trainee solicitor Sophie Welbourn.

The Nue Co said:

“It was fantastic to work with the team at Keystone, led by Charles, through our recent fundraising process. It’s an essential part of any entrepreneur’s journey to have legal support that can help simplify complex terms. Having had a legal team that we knew was looking out for our best interests made the process so much easier for us to navigate, and we are delighted with the new deal. Charles and his colleagues felt like an extension of our own team and were always available across US and UK working hours. We were proud to have Charles representing The Nue Co to our new investors and look forward to furthering our relationship with him, Gabi, Ana and the wider Keystone team.”

Charles Frank added:

“It was a pleasure to advise The Nue Co on this significant investment, which will help to drive forward its innovative approach to supplements. This complex transaction showcased Keystone’s team of highly experienced lawyers, who were able to provide specialist advice across a diverse range of practice areas to successfully close the deal and achieve our client’s objectives.”
